商業公司與義工
“商業公司” 和 “義工” 是互斥的嗎 ?
今天看到這篇文章，說是 Google 又多了好幾個不同語言的界面，文章裡面還寫說
We would like to extend our thanks to the volunteers who have translated Google into these languages.
意思就是他們的這些多國語言界面有部份是靠義工的協助完成的。這就讓我想到之前的無名廣告信，當然啦，我也是很賭爛有人亂塞廣告信，不過我覺得說因為它是商業公司還找義工翻譯這件事不好的話，其實也不是很恰當就是了。
另，我是不知道翻譯的人有沒有什麼獎勵就是了，如果像是 Jedi 大師因為翻譯 FeedDemon 而享有正式完整版的話，讓翻譯無名多國語系的人也拿個 VIP 白金卡之類的，那也就還不錯啦，反正這是沒本錢買賣… 啊不是，我的意思是說，這沒有現金支出啦 :p

不過他們這些翻譯者也沒有從 Google 得到什麼好處啊。

搞不好google送了人家白金等級的gmail帳號呀~ :p 信箱容量有1T之類的~ :p

我以前有參加過Google的翻譯計畫，貢獻過一個字(好像是”網頁目錄 “->”網站目錄 “)，沒被採納XD
