最好笑的笑話 ?
我懷疑這是過期的愚人節笑話 @_@
剛剛在這裡看到，兩年半前有一份研究報告做出了一份 “最好笑的笑話” 的研究，那個笑話是這樣子的：
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn’t seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed.
The other guy whips out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps: ‘My friend is dead! What can I do?’ The operator says: ‘Calm down, I can help. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.’
There is a silence, then a shot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says: ‘OK, now what?’
中文翻譯如下：
有兩個人去森林裡打獵，其中有一個人突然昏倒了，而且看起來似乎連呼吸也停了；另一個人馬上打電話求援，醫護人員說：”你冷靜點，我們一定會幫你忙，不過首先你先去看看他到底死了沒。” 在一陣靜默後，傳出一聲槍響，接著話筒裡傳出聲音：”接下來呢 ?”
老實說，我並不覺得這特別好笑，不過據研究報告的說法是說這個笑話可以普遍地讓不同國家、性別、年齡、職業的人覺得好笑，所以雖然還有其他在某些族群被列為好笑的笑話，他們還是決定要把這則笑話選為世界上最好笑的笑話。
該研究報告還有一些有趣的統計，例如說不同國家的人喜歡不同種類的笑話、”好笑笑話” 平均長度是 103 個字 (他們說上面那個笑話的長度是 102 個字，但是我數起來是 88 個字 ?)、很多笑話都跟動物有關 (如果跟鴨子有關的話會更好笑… 這什麼道理 o_O)、最誇張的是他們發現 “10 月 7 號下午 6 點 3 分” 的時候看笑話覺得最好笑 @_@
我對這則新聞做了一點小考證 (其實只是拜請 Google 大神)，找到了 Dr. Richard Wiseman 的網頁，也找到了 Laugh Lab 的網頁，但是我實在是沒辦法判斷這件事倒底是真的還是虛構的，只好就此打住啦。

ㄟ…那個笑話漏了一段耶，正確的內容是這樣的：
A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn’t seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy. I can help. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy’s voice comes back on the line. He says: “OK, now what?”
這樣就102個字啦 :)
而且這個好像不是研究，是這個laughlab徵求好笑笑話所得出來的結果…

我看過說最好笑的是福爾摩斯和華生在帳篷的那一篇，在科學人雜誌上看到的

翻成「不過首先你先去看看他到底死了沒」好像沒有觸到精髓，翻成「我們先確定一下他是真的死了」似乎比較好。
